compatibility mode

Description

With the compatibility mode you start the graphical cost estimation function. There you can assign prices, time estimates and service texts to a course structure. You can then either print out the prices and time estimates or in DATAflor BUSINESS edit further.

To use the compatibility mode of the graphical cost estimation, you need a specification structure in the quick masses, from which a BUSINESS-LV can be generated.

Application

  1. Mark the position in the mass tree for which you want the function Graphic cost estimation want to activate.
  2. Then choose the command BUSINESS-Compatibility mode.

Functionality

As soon as the compatibility mode is active, the LV structure contains different symbols:

folder: contain either further subfolders or positions. Folders that contain neither subfolders nor positions can be opened in the dialog Graphic cost estimation can be converted into a blanket position. An empty folder to which a CAD object is assigned automatically becomes a position.

positions: contain assigned CAD objects or are converted blanket positions. You can use the function to change these positions Graphic cost estimation Assign unit of measure, time approaches and prices. The amount is taken from the assigned objects or automatically set to 1 for flat-rate items.

objects: are selected from CAD and assigned to a position or folder by clicking and dragging. This will automatically convert the folder to a location. The quantity information from the assigned object is automatically adopted.

Error: this symbol is a faulty folder or position. The folder or the position does not correspond to the structure requirements to successfully submit the course DATAflor BUSINESS to convict. About the command Show Errors the errors can be displayed and corrected.

It is also possible to add or delete further folders or positions during the compatibility mode.

After activating the compatibility mode, you can use the function Graphic cost estimation Quantities, units, prices, time approaches and service texts can be assigned or edited to the individual items.
