Perspective view

Description

This function creates a perspective view of a terrain surface (triangulation or surface), whereby the own location, the viewing direction and the eye level on the terrain can be specified.

Application

  1. Mark the desired surface (triangulation or grid) in the DTM tree and call it with the right mouse button Visualization> Perspective View on. The view will now open automatically From above placed.
  2. Then comes the question about the position. Click a point in the terrain. If the point is outside the area, the function is canceled.
  3. With the definition of the Target point determine the desired viewing direction.
  4. Then the query of the eye level takes place (Height above the surface). In order to simulate the height of a person, a viewing height of 1.80 m above the site is suggested.
  5. After confirmation with [OK] the corresponding perspective is calculated and displayed on the screen.
