Responsible / data protection officer

Controller

Every company has to appoint a person responsible. This person must check all current data processing processes in the company and, if necessary, adapt them or introduce new processes. Furthermore, it decides on the type, scope, purpose and means of processing personal data and defines and documents the technical and organizational measures that are used in the company to comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation in a directory of processing activities.

Data protection officer

Many companies also have to appoint a company data protection officer, for example if at least 10 people are constantly involved in the processing of personal data (e.g. use of DATAflor BUSINESS / AVA / and the DATAflor Apps) are busy. The data protection officer advises the person responsible and the employees on the subject of data protection and monitors compliance with it.
