DATAflor Apps

The data transfer between your DATAflor BUSINESS / AVA and the DATAflor Apps on your devices are carried out via the DATAflor Cloud technology. The cloud services from Microsoft Azure are used as the basis for this.

During the DATAflor-Cloud no usable data is kept or stored longer; the DATAflor The cloud service only transfers the data between the server and the end device. The data is between DATAflor BUSINESS / AvaServer ⇔ DATAflor Cloud ⇔ end device encrypted via HTTPS connection.

The data on the mobile device is not additionally encrypted and must be protected by the user independently using suitable measures. For this purpose, general access to the end device should be controlled by a security code (PIN = Personal Identification Number), if possible by an extended PIN with six or more digits.

Will the DATAflor If apps with the company's data are used on private end devices (BYOD = Bring Your Own Device) or if company devices (COPE = corporate-owned personally-enabled) can also be used for private purposes, further security measures are recommended.

One possibility is the use of so-called MDM software (Mobile Device Management), with which the mobile devices can be configured via a centralized administration. Another option is to use PIM software (Personal Information Manager), which can be used to control which data is available to which user.
