License BUSINESS clients

Description

As a client, in BUSINESS Defined an independent company for which a corresponding bookkeeping must be kept. The individual clients are stored in their own databases with their own print forms, texts, etc. The databases of the individual clients do not correspond to one another.

For managing multiple clients in BUSINESS you need a separate license for each client. The licenses of the individual clients can contain different program functionalities.

Reading in the necessary licenses and setting up clients takes place on the network server in the following steps:

Request a tenant license

Requesting tenant licenses is the same as requesting a network license (see Chapter Network license request).

Reading in a changed tenant license

After the license request form has been sent, you will receive your client licenses as quickly as possible via the selected access channel, for example as a file attached to a e-mail.

Please carry out these steps on the network server and terminate beforehand on all workstations BUSINESS-Program.
In your own interest, check whether an up-to-date, complete data backup is available.

  1. Save the license files in a directory on your computer (e.g. in the DATAflor-Directory). Since the tenant licenses are imported in the fixed order of main tenant - sub-tenant 1 - sub-tenant 2 - etc., make sure that the order of the licenses is clearly recognizable. For example, create a directory for each tenant (as shown in the figure) in which you save the license file.

Since the license is assigned to a specific tenant (main tenant - sub-tenant 1 - sub-tenant 2 - etc.) it is very important to read it in for the relevant tenant as well.
