License BUSINESS Network
Description
After installation on the server contains BUSINESS automatically a demo license with which you can test the program for 30 days free of charge.
Would you like BUSINESS license is required. In this way, your existing license can also be expanded.
Request license
If you haven't already, switch to the server and log in as an administrator. Please note: You must also switch to the server if you are working in a peer-to-peer network.
To request a valid license, open the Windows start menu the directory DATAflor and select the entry DATAflor Server license requirement.
The input mask for requesting a license opens. Complete the form and make changes if necessary.

Confirm your entries with [Send].
The license file will usually be sent to you by email on the day of the request.
Read in license
After the license request has been sent, you will receive your license file as soon as possible via e-mail.
In your own interest, please check whether an up-to-date, complete data backup is available.
If you have not already done so, switch to the server or the workstation that acts as the server and log in as administrator. Please note: You must also switch to the server if you are working in a peer-to-peer network.
Save the file in a directory on your computer (e.g. in the DATAflor-Directory).
To read in the license, open the Windows start menu the directory DATAflor and click on the entry DATAflor License manager.
The DATAflor License manager is started. Highlight below the entry Server licenses the existing demo license.
Then open the menu License in the menu bar and select the command New > Read in license.
The Windows file selection dialog opens. Select the directory path in which the license file (* .lic) is located and confirm with [To open].
Choose the from DATAflor sent license and confirm with [OK].
From version 2018 you have to enter the Dinest DATAflor License server start anew.
To do this, click on the start menu at the bottom left and enter services on. With one click you open the service administration.
Here you now navigate to the service DATAflor License server.
Right click on the service and press Start anew.
If you mark the license entry in the license manager, an overview of the content of the selected license is displayed.
If the license is available, you can now use the Modules on this BUSINESS Workplace activate or deselect.
as soon as you BUSINESS restart, the modules and functions of the imported license are available.
If the license is not automatically recognized by the individual network clients / workstations, you can set the license manually via the server (not the network workstation). To do this, click on the command in the license manager Server licenses and select in the menu License the menu item New and the command Select license server.
The dialog for selecting the license server opens.
Wear in the field Server & Hosting the computer name of the server and enter the assigned Port (The Harbour District) at. The available licenses are displayed in the window. Select the appropriate license and confirm the process with [OK].
