System Requirements ETB-CAD 2017

The following hardware and software is necessary or recommended for working with the program:

• Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and the latest service pack for the operating systems. Windows 7 can be installed under all versions. We recommend Business or Ultimate. For Windows 8.1 and 10 we recommend the PRO version. Windows 8.1 RT and 10 Mobile are not supported.
• Processor: at least Intel Core 2 Duo with at least 3,0 GHz and SSE2 technology
• Memory: 8 GB, better 16 GB
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 9.0 or higher

• Administrator rights are required for the installation;
• Internet access (E-Email-Contact with the DATAflor Hotline / use of DATAflor Online service / access to the online libraries);
• The installation takes place on drive C. For this, a free hard disk space of approx. 5 GB required;
• temporary swap file for the operating system approx. 1.50 GB;
• at least 6 GB free hard disk space;
• recommended: suitable software and hardware for data backup;
• Recommended: Packing program for data compression (eg WinZIP);
• recommended: A4 scanner (for scanning photos and plans);
• recommended: anti-virus program.

Graphic card:

We recommend using a professional CAD graphics card with DirectX 11 support. The use of onboard graphics cards (e.g. from Intel or ATI) is not recommended and can lead to performance problems.
(In the DATAflor Various models of NVDIA GTX graphics cards are used in test environments.)

Requirements / dependencies:

• For using the BUSINESS Additions is an installed on the computer DATAflor BUSINESS required from version 4.
• For generating quantity certificates in AVA or BUSINESS will the BUSINESS Supplement coupling required.
• For some functions the graphical cost estimate is BUSINESS required from version 2014.
• When BUSINESS Easy is available, the additions to the quantity verification and formulas REB, GAEB-VB are required.
• When BUSINESS Pro is available, the expansion formula collection REB, GAEB-VB is required.
• When BUSINESS Xpert is available, all necessary licenses are already available.

The program documentation is only available digitally (online help). It can also document content that is not part of the program. Printed manuals are not available.
