System Requirements CADXPERT 2016

The following hardware and software is necessary or recommended for working with the program:

If you can choose between a 32- or 64-bit operating system, you should always choose the 64-bit variant. You benefit from increased system performance, especially with extensive calculations and demanding graphics.

• Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and the latest service pack for the operating systems. Windows 7 can be installed under all versions. We recommend Business or Ultimate. For Windows 8 (8.1) we recommend the PRO version. Windows 8 (8.1) RT is not supported.
• Processor: at least Intel Core 2 Duo with at least 3,0 GHz and SSE2 technology
• Memory: 4 GB
• AutoCAD 32-Bit: Version 2014 to 2016 (also Map, Civil, Architecture - not LT or Mac) for CADXPERT 2016

• Administrator rights are required for the installation;
• Internet access (e-mail contact with the DATAflor Hotline / use of DATAflor Online service / access to the online libraries);
• temporary swap file for the operating system approx. 1.50 GB;
• at least 6 GB free hard disk space;
• recommended: suitable software and hardware for data backup;
• Recommended: Packing program for data compression (eg WinZIP);
• recommended: A4 scanner (for scanning photos and plans);
• recommended: anti-virus program.

Graphic card:

We recommend using a professional CAD graphics card with DirectX 11 support. The use of onboard graphics cards (e.g. from Intel or ATI) is not recommended and can lead to performance problems.
(In the DATAflor Various models of NVDIA GTX graphics cards are used in test environments.)

Google Earth interface:

The Google Earth Pro version must be used for commercial use of Google Earth data. The free Google Earth version is intended exclusively for private, non-commercial use, as well as for use during training.

SketchUp interface:

The Pro version must be used for commercial use of SktechUp. The free SketchUp version is intended exclusively for private, non-commercial use, as well as for use during training.

Requirements / dependencies:

• For the use of the modules coupling, quantity verification and irrigation, a is installed on the computer DATAflor BUSINESS required from version 4.
• For some functions the graphical cost estimate is BUSINESS required from version 2014.
• The terrain model module is required for quantity documentation in the 3D area.
• For generating quantity certificates in AVA or BUSINESS the coupling module is also required.
• When BUSINESS Easy is available, the additions to the quantity verification and formula collection REB, he grunted-VB required.
