Confidential
Description
With the status button Confidential becomes an address or contact the property Confidential assigned. In this way you can protect addresses and associated data from unauthorized access.
Application
user with the User right Manage confidential addresses can use this button to mark addresses as confidential. If the button has a yellow background, this address is marked as confidential and can be accessed by users without the user right Manage confidential addresses can no longer be viewed or found in the search.
Using Multiple machining It is also possible to have multiple addresses at the same time for the property confidential assign.
This function is primarily used to protect private employee data from being viewed by other employees.
Features
User without the user right Manage confidential addresses
- cannot see entries marked as confidential in Address Manager.
- can't have confidential entries via the Comfort- or Expert search .
- cannot open confidential addresses from other program areas.
- are not displayed in an employee selection dialog for the postcode and location of the entries.
- can in the Connect app select all employees, but confidential address data are not displayed. To do this, the local data may first have to be deleted on the device in the Connect app and the data retrieved again.
Attention: This function has not yet been implemented for the PROJECT app! Sensitive records are still visible to all users in this app.
Further information
In order to keep the private place of residence of employees confidential, the display name of the entry should be selected without specifying the location.
If an employee is also the customer, for example, then an additional address should be created as the customer. The employee should then be informed about which private data (e.g. home address) is recorded there and visible to other employees.
