Description

To create a new address,

name and address

Enter the name and address of the address on the Details tab. An address preview is displayed showing how the address will be displayed on printouts by default.

TitleBy clicking on you can select a salutation that has already been saved. An entry can also be added using the Add / Edit Entries function.
TitleThis field is only displayed if you have selected Person as the address type. If necessary, enter the title of the person (e.g. Dr., Prof.). By clicking on you can select a title that has already been saved. Furthermore, an entry can be added using the Add / Edit Entries function.
NameEnter the name of the person or company.
First name / surnameFor addresses with the address type Person, fields are available for a second first name and an addition to the name.

You can use the 2nd first name field, for example, for parts of a name such as "von". "From" entered in the Name field, sorts the address in the address tree under "V". Entered in the First name (or 2nd first name) field, the address is entered under the main name.

For addresses with the company address type, fields are available for a name addition and a second addition.

You can use the additional name field for "jun." / "Sen." / "GmbH" or something similar.

Addition 1 / Addition 2These fields are intended for additional entries, such as GmbH & Co. KG, z. Ms. Meier, gardening and landscaping, etc.
StreetWith this entry you can switch between the entry for street or PO Box by clicking on.
CountryBy clicking on you can accept a country code that has already been stored. Based on the country selection, input fields for postcode and city are then displayed in a country-specific manner. In addition, the respective country is added to the address on printouts.
Postcode / TownIf you enter a postcode in the Postcode field, the City field is automatically filled if the relevant data has already been stored in the Postcode / City master data. Click on to open a selection list of the entries that have already been saved and select the desired entry. An entry can also be added using the Add / Edit Entries function.
RegionThe Region field is available in addition to the location. You can use this as an additional information field, e.g. assignment of federal states. The assignment of the region can be used for the selection of addresses. This field is not taken into account in the address printing on offers and invoices.
By clicking on you can access regions that have already been stored. Furthermore, an entry can be added using the Add / Edit Entries function.
Address previewHere the address is composed depending on the selected country code according to the country-specific address rules. An address in D is shown differently than an address in GB.

Save your entries by saving in the Addresses menu or alternatively use the key combination CTRL + S.

Display Name

The addresses are displayed with their display names in the address manager tree and in the project management tree. The display name is also used on reports and lists.

In the Display name field, open the selection menu by clicking on and select an entry.
