triangulation

Description

Triangulation is a surface modeling from triangles. The calculation is based on the Delaunay algorithm. This means that the triangles created are meshed according to the so-called min-max criterion, so that the occurrence of acute triangular angles is avoided if possible.

A set of points, a modeling, another triangulation or a grid can serve as the basis for a triangulation. The triangulation, in turn, can be used as the basis for further triangulations, a grid or a difference field.
