Description

Number ranges are used in various program areas for automatic, consecutive numbering of new entries or elements (e.g. receipts, devices, invoices).

They enable a systematic organization of the number assignment. The number ranges for receipts consist, for example, of a numerical number that can be used depending on business can be extended by an alphanumeric prefix.
