Dialogue
Description
Dialogs are often smaller, often fixed, and appear as pop-up windows in front of the main application window.
Often it is modal Window, ie the user cannot continue working in the other windows of the same application. The window must first be closed.
Contrast this with non-modal Window. The window can be constantly open while you are working in the main application. Many new program parts are developed non-modally (e.g. the quick functions in the CAD programs).
