Description

With Border edges In the terrain model, surfaces can be subdivided and delimited into terrain areas, and predetermined breaking points can be inserted for calculations. Furthermore, colors and materials can be visualized with the border edges. Inserted boundary edges themselves do not change the calculation of the terrain. This can only be done in combination with constrained edges or break edges.

The Forced edge is the most common type of edge. When creating constrained edges, the current height of the drawing element is used. The changes in the surface can also be influenced by defining slopes.

An Breakline In the narrower sense, it consists of two edges which, due to a very slight offset, result in an almost vertical slope (wall). This means that steps in the terrain can also be shown. To create a breakline, however, only the selection of a constrained edge is necessary, the other line (boundary edge) is automatically passed through DATAflor CAD created. The current height of the drawing element is used when creating breaklines.
