Viewport
Description
View windows are used to display drawing information that is located in the model area and should be displayed in the layout area.
The desired model area is displayed in the view window using the commands ZOOM and PAN positioned. Depending on the use, several viewports can be displayed in one layout.
A general distinction is made between viewport models:
- Viewport
- polygonal viewport
- Convert object to viewport
Changes to the layout view window, such as the scale or the content, are made via the properties or via the view window itself. A button in the layout area is responsible for this, where you can switch between model and paper at the push of a button.
There is an option especially for draft planning Crop viewportwhen working with a colored background.
