Alternative position
Description
An alternative item is an item that is included in the specification of services as an additional variant offered for an item. For example, an alternative item could be offered with a cheaper paving than the one actually advertised.
These items are marked as alternative items on printouts and the unit price and total amount of the item are shown in brackets. The total amount of the position is neither included in the total amount of the hierarchy nor in the LV total.
The alternative position is regionally also called Electoral position designated. The definition of the two terms is similar.
