The DATAflor Hotline questions are often asked how certain tasks in the area of plant planning are to be solved. The answers to these frequently asked questions are documented in this chapter.
number of plants change
Question: I already have plants of a certain quality in the Object manager added. Now I want to increase the number of these plants. How can I get the number as soon as possible change?
Answer: The simplest method is to copy existing plants. To do this, use the command Copy with objects.
Label plants
Question: I have arranged plants in groups, each individual plant is given a label. Is it possible to label the same plants only once?
Answer: To use a common label for plants of the same quality, activate the Object manager on the tab Label the option Label groups together. If you want to use text with a binder, as in the example, then also adjust the text parameters for the selected labeling.
Linear planting
Question: Can rectangles be provided with linear planting?
Answer: It is possible to apply linear planting to rectangles and other closed polylines. To do this, register the object as a non-closed object using the Contour tracing. Please note that the option closed is deactivated.
