3D-Objekte

Description

The 3D-Objekte in principle correspond to normal objects (see objects). The only difference lies in the derivation of the properties segment and area. These are not in the projection (2D), but in the 3D development of the object or in Processing determined on a 3D surface, which with the DATAflor Terrain model was created. If a 2D object is recorded as a 3D object, the derived distance and area are identical.

Application

After calling up the function, a dialog opens in which the desired processing can be selected:

3D processing

In normal processing, the object is treated like a surface and documented accordingly.

3D development on the surface

This option is very practical, as the entire drawing can also be available in 2D, which has a positive effect on the working speed and does not have to be concerned with height planning when creating the objects.

When processing on a Terrain model Surface can Triangulations or Grids to be selected. If the surface is later deleted or the derived 3D object is moved in the drawing so that it is no longer in the area of the surface, the 3D object is also removed from the Object manager deleted. However, a note appears to draw your attention to this. When changing the surfaces with the DATAflor Terrain model the properties of the objects in the Object manager tracked.

If the area of a surface is to be calculated, which is available as terrain in the DTM, the 3D development on a surface must be used.

To new 3D-Objekte there are the following options:

  • Contour tracing 3D: A new Derive 3D objects call through the menu Crowds or with the right mouse button New> 3D contour tracking ... .
The derivation of the objects is identical to that of normal objects (see objects invest).
  • existing objects 3D: A existing Derive 3D objects call through the menu Crowds or with the right mouse button New> existing objects 3D ... .
The detection of the objects is identical to that of normal objects (see objects invest).

After capturing you can go to the tab Features in The Field Info call up whether the object was recorded or on which surface it was recorded.
