What's new?

version 2015

General changes

  • New command: "Continue" of drawing elements - Existing drawing elements such as lines, polylines, splines with pick points and dimensions can be drawn in the drawing direction.
  • Uniform behavior of the DATAflor commands - All DATAflor Commands behave the same way in the course of the work steps. For example, it is possible to preselect the objects to be processed, or additional options can be called up using the right mouse button.
  • Settings are saved - For various DATAflor Commands, such as a symbol line or a stakeout bar, the settings are saved so that they are available as a preselection when the command is called up again.

Digital terrain model

  • Alphanumeric point numbers - Point numbers can now also contain letters and characters. This means that data from the survey can now be imported directly.
  • Revision of the command "Edit line courses dynamically" - The proven function for editing 3D lines comes with a new surface. The dialog has been made clearer and the definition of intervals has been simplified. In addition, gradient objects can be automatically derived from the edited line course.
  • Revision of the command "digitize points" - Digitizing points has been simplified. All the information you need now appears at the mouse pointer.
  • Derive points from DTM objects - DTM objects such as triangulations can now also be used with the command Derive drawing elements (EXTRACT). This allows, for example, points of a triangulation that were added by modeling to be visualized.
  • Boundary lines for triangulations - A 3D polyline is generated based on a triangulation, which depicts the boundaries of the triangulation. This can, for example, be used as a new model.
  • Exclude areas for the build-up of layers - Define areas, e.g. building edges, that should be left out of the layer structure.
  • Rounding isolines - Due to the rounding off, the visible course of the contour lines can deviate from the calculated course. Therefore, the intensity of the rounding can also be defined from very weakly rounded off (very close to the arithmetic curve - contour lines are only slightly rounded off in the corners) to very strongly rounded (strong deviation from the arithmetical curve - very round representation of the contour lines).
  • Editing of the dimensions for profile sections for profile groups - The functions of the right mouse button to edit the dimensions are also available for profile groups at group level.

Object manager

  • Rename captured objects in the mass tree - Recorded objects, such as areas, can be renamed later, for example to match the object names to the higher-level position.
  • Use point numbers from the terrain model in the documentation - If recorded objects have already received point numbers from the terrain model, these are also used for the documentation.
  • Additional option for the prefix for layer names - As an alternative to the previous option of using the number of characters in the group name, the complete group name can now also be used as a prefix.
  • New option: Do not write on deduction areas - It is possible not to have the deduction areas labeled in order to increase the clarity of the drawing.
  • Additional default layers - Layers that are automatically created from the Object Manager can be created automatically from the group name (“from group”) or from the object name (“from drawing object”).
  • Item long text in the "Coupling" tab - With an item linkage, the item long text is displayed in the tab Link displayed.
  • Check when writing proof of quantities - When writing a quantity statement, a check is made as to whether the quantity statement of the linked LVs already contains lines from another drawing. This prevents an unwanted increase in the quantities in the quantity statement.
  • Revision of the dialog "Drawing copy" - The dialog for creating copies of drawings (DFSAVE) has been made clearer and expanded with a new option for linking to a copy of the original LV. In addition, a descriptive text is displayed for each option.
  • Handover of a project (drawing + LV) - With the new option mentioned above for linking to a copy of the original specification, entire projects, i.e. drawings and specifications, can now be transferred to another computer. The position coupling can then be restored 1: 1, so that after the transfer, quantities can still be transferred to the LV via position coupling.

Graphic cost estimation

  • Allocation of the LV status upon handover - When handing over the graphic cost estimate DATAflor BUSINESS the status of the LV is now queried.
  • Transfer of the data from the preliminary calculation - If standard services with a stored preliminary cost estimate were used in the graphic cost estimate, then these data will be transferred to DATAflor BUSINESS with handed over and are therefore also in the DATAflor BUSINESS is available for storage, management and analysis.
  • Create a new position from standard services - New positions can be created quickly by clicking and dragging from the dialog with the standard services. This can be done with the button Services from the dialogue Quick-Masses to open.

Libraries

  • Extension of the visibility manager to include colors and symbols - In the Visibility manager colors and symbols can be individually assigned to the individual libraries. In addition, the individual palettes within a library can also be structured in terms of color.
  • Additional default layers - Layers that are automatically generated from the libraries can be automatically generated from the library name and the pallet name («Group name + pallet name»).
