Configure graphic defaults

Description

The graphic specifications were specially developed for plant planning. A specific layout can be preset for each type of plant object and each type of plant. This makes daily use easier, as an appealing planting plan is created after the plants have been assigned.

For immediate use, some specifications are already set in the program so that you can work with an appealing plan graphic. You can of course adapt the defaults to your ideas. The designation of the existing planting plan variants is important for a clear allocation and can therefore not be changed.

In the tab Schedule the graphics for planting planning are listed separately.

Define the graphic specifications in the template file * .dwt. This has the advantage that the graphic specifications can be used by other users using the template file.

Requirements for area planting

For the area object type (regardless of the type of plant used), the Area plantings the necessary presettings are made, which are then automatically created as graphic variants during use. A few settings have already been created by default so that appealing planting plans are created immediately when working with plants.

Functionality

The default settings are called up via the menu Plants> Configure graphic defaults.

When assigning plants to areas, graphic variants are automatically created. The table is processed from top to bottom, ie the first assignment receives the first entry, the second the second, and so on. When all entries have been processed, the process starts again from the top. About the Pfeile the list can be sorted and thus the order can be determined. If all but one of the entries is removed, all areas have identical graphic variants. over [Add] new entries are created, [Delete] removes marked entries. The graphic type is predefined and cannot be changed.

Variant 1 (technical planting plan): graphic type hatching / setting options (see hatching)

Variant 2 (CAD draft): graphic type hatching / setting options (see hatching)

Variant 3 (Presentation plan): Graphic type Flat raster graphic / setting options (see flat raster graphics)

In the Adding pictures Note the following in variant 3: The factor indicates the absolute insertion value.

The image size therefore results from the resolution and the pixel size of the image. In order to check the proportionality, the image can, for example, once in advance with the command insert Picture can be inserted into the drawing with the desired factor. (For information: The pictures from the DATAflor Libraries are formatted so that the factor 1 = 1 character unit.)

Requirements for single planting

For the single plant object type, the tab Single plants the necessary presettings are made, which are then automatically created as graphic variants during use. Different graphic variants can be set depending on the type of plant. The plant species set in the list stands for plants that are not assigned to any plant species in the plant database. As a default, a few settings have already been created for each type of plant so that appealing planting plans are created immediately when working with plants.

Functionality

The default settings are called up via the menu Plants> Configure graphic defaults.

When assigning plants as individual plants, graphic variants are automatically created. The table is processed from top to bottom, ie the first assignment receives the first entry, the second the second, and so on. Once all entries have been processed, start again from the top. About the Pfeile the list can be sorted and thus the order can be determined. If all but one of the entries is removed, all plants of a plant species (e.g. all deciduous trees) have identical graphic variants. over [Add] new entries are created, [Delete] removes marked entries. The graphic type is predefined and cannot be changed.

Variant 1 (technical planting plan): graphic type block / setting options (see Block)

Variant 2 (CAD draft): graphic type block / setting options (see Block)

Variant 3 (Presentation plan): Graphic type Individual raster graphic / setting options (see single raster graphic)

In the Adding blocks and pictures Please note the following in variants 2 and 3: The factor indicates the relative insertion value in relation to variant 1, i.e. if the factor 2 is entered for variants 3 and 1, the graphics will be of the same size as the block of variant 1 inserted in the drawing. Existing block or image sizes are irrelevant.

Requirements for linear plantings

For the route object type (regardless of the type of plant used), the Linear plantings the necessary presettings are made, which are then automatically created as graphic variants during use. A few settings have already been created by default so that appealing planting plans are created immediately when working with plants.

Functionality

The default settings are called up via the menu Plants> Configure graphic defaults.

When assigning plants as linear plantings, graphic variants are automatically created. The table is processed from top to bottom, ie the first assignment receives the first entry, the second the second, and so on. Once all entries have been processed, start again from the top. About the Pfeile the list can be sorted and the order can be determined. If all but one of the entries is removed, all routes have identical graphic variants. over [Add] new entries are created, [Delete] removes marked entries. The graphic type is predefined and cannot be changed.

Variant 1 (technical planting plan): graphic type symbol line / setting options (see Symbol line)

Variant 2 (CAD draft): graphic type block / setting options (see Block)

Variant 3 (Presentation plan): Graphic type Individual raster graphic / setting options (see single raster graphic)

In the Adding pictures Note the following in variant 3: The factor indicates the relative insertion value in relation to variant 2, ie if factor 3 is entered in variant 1, the images are inserted with the same size as the block of variant 2 in the drawing . Existing image sizes are irrelevant.
