Viewpoint in Google Earth

Command: ZOOMED

Description

By specifying a point in the CAD drawing, Google Earth zooms to this coordinate in order to, for example, BILD to make of the environment.

Application

  1. Start Google Earth and then call in DATAflor CAD the command.

    Before calling the command, Google Earth should be open with it DATAflor CAD finds the interface.

  2. Enter the point in the drawing that you would like to be displayed in Google Earth.
  3. Google Earth is activated and there is zoomed to the selected coordinate. A viewing height of at least 500 m is achieved.

Functionality

Select the point in your CAD drawing that should represent the center of the map area you are looking for.

If you are in a drawing without referenced world coordinates when you call the function, you cannot zoom to the correct coordinate in Google Earth. However, previously with the function Reference drawing a BILD inserted using reference points, the correct coordinate range is used.
