objects

Im Mass tree You can use objects in different ways (icons, menu, keyboard, mouse) record and manage. When capturing from the drawing, the program automatically recognizes whether the object is an object (eg points), segments (eg lines), areas (eg polygons) or volumes (eg prism bodies). You can recognize this by the name assigned in the Mass tree after the capture. Unknown object types are always with the default Object detected.

In addition to the name, all objects automatically receive a continuous identification number required for the acquisition. The name of the object can of course be changed at any time in the tab Features to be changed. When used for billing documentation, this name will appear later in the quantity statement.

If drawing objects are deleted from the drawing that were previously in the Object manager have been recorded, the objects in Mass tree deleted. However, a note will appear to draw your attention to this.

All properties of the recorded objects are always calculated and documented in the 2D projection, even if the objects are 3D lines or 3D surfaces. Changes in height of the objects, e.g. with the command Edit the course of the line, therefore have no effect on the derived properties.

If the objects are to be recorded in 3D processing, they must be recorded as a 3D object. Later changes in the height of the objects (e.g. with the command Edit the course of the line) have a direct effect on the derived properties. When capturing the objects, you must therefore consider whether 2D or 3D should be used. If possible, the 2D area is preferable, as 3D data can affect the working speed.
