Georeferenced BILD insert

Command: DFGEOIMAGE

Description

Georeferenced raster images (aerial photos, topographic maps) can be inserted precisely into the drawing. You can use this as a basis for planning or as an overview map, for example.

Functionality

The command calls up the image selection. When loading the selected image file, the parameters for the georeference (also referred to as correlation) are read out and the BILD then immediately inserted in the correct place.

The BILD is inserted on the current layer and its correlation data is saved in the drawing file.

By default, the correlation source is searched for in the directory in which the BILD is included.

If there is no correlation information, the standard dialog is automatically displayed BILD insert appears.

Notes correlation

The information on the georeference can be found directly in the image file (.TIF, .JPG, .BMP), in world files (.WLD, .TFW, .JGW, .BPW) or in tab files (.TAB) must be included.

The data in a separate world or tab file is only used if it is saved with the same name.

The correlation data can be available in different ways: on the one hand with insertion point (top left corner of the image), scale (pixel size) and rotation, on the other hand with four pairs of control point coordinates. There can also be a combination of both.
