Print preview in print management
Description
The following description of the functions in the menu print preview applies to all printouts of the form groups with the addition "(Fast)":
- Print out business transactions (Fast)
e.g. offer, invoice
- Printouts and lists (almost)
e.g. Cylinders, Dishes, Addresses-master sheet, Addresses-List
- Forms (almost)
e.g. EFB 221 (2018), EFB 223 (2018)
Functions in the menu
The menu shows the functions that are available for the selected form.
For example: Invoice printing

| output | Creates, according to the selected output type, the printout / s, email / s and file / s.
If you want e-mails to be opened in your standard mail program before they are sent, activate 20.10 in the program parameter Printer mappings for e-mail settings the option View email before sending. |
| New | Reloads all settings in order to create another output of the form for the LV after output of a form (e.g. offer, advance invoice). |
| Sample | Stands for the LV printouts of the form group Print out business transactions (Fast) (e.g. offer, invoice) available. Adds the prefix "Probe" to the form name. When issuing trial order confirmations and trial invoices, no postings are created for the construction site account and the general ledger transfer. The document number set is not saved as used in the system. |
| Construction file | Is available to users with access to the construction file. When the form is output, it is also saved as a PDF file in the construction file. |
| Booking sheet | Available for invoices / credits. Open that Booking sheet to the invoice shown in the print preview. |
| Final sheet | Is available for batch printing of invoices. After the stack has been output, the print menu for the bottom sheet opens. |
| Save | Is only displayed if the data selection is open. Adopts the changes made to the quantity, price, text, and images of an item in the item data of the LV. |
| Undone | Is only displayed if the data selection is open. Undoes the last change made. |
| Restore | Is only displayed if the data selection is open. Undoes all changes made to the quantity, price, text, and images of an item since the last save and restores the last saved status. |
| Position text | Is available when the data selection is open. For the item marked in the table, short and long text are displayed for editing. |
| Total foot | Available when the data selector is open. The calculation of the net sum, VAT and gross sum is displayed below the position table. |
| Position images | Available when the data selector is open. The images are displayed for selection and editing that correspond to the position marked in the table in the LV on the tab Pictures is displayed. A description of all functions for handling images in the form can be found in the Wiki section Select / edit position images. |
| Automatically / Update | Is the function Automatically activated (orange background), the print preview is automatically reloaded after changing a setting. Is the function Automatically not activated, the print preview can be used with the function Update updated at an individual time. Is the function Update grayed out, the print preview is up to date. |
| Overview | Shows an overview of all pages in the form. |
| First / Previous / Next / Last | Navigate to the corresponding page in the print preview. |
| Full Page / Page width / Present in several = 100% / Zoom out / Enlarge | Change the size in which the pages of the form are displayed in the print preview. |
| Collateral surcharges / deductions | Is available for LV printouts such as offer, order confirmation, invoice. Opens the dialog Enter surcharges-discounts-securities for checking stored and entering new LV surcharges / deductions, retentions and securities. |
| Form manager - To the form variant - To the print variant | Opens the selected form variant or print variant in the form manager. |
| Close pressure | Closes the print management. |
Functions in the print preview

| Page break before position | Inserts a page break before this position so that it is placed on the following page. |
| Remove page break | If a page break was inserted before this position, it can be removed here. |
| Remove all page breaks before positions | Removes all page breaks inserted before positions throughout the entire LV. |
| To the position in data selection | Opens the data selection and marks the corresponding position. |
| To the position in LV processing | Closes the print menu and opens the position in the LV. |
| Edit position text | Opens the editing of the short and long text of this position in the data selection. |
