DATAflor Apps

For data transfer between your DATAflor BUSINESS / AVA and the DATAflor Apps on your devices are carried out via the DATAflor Cloud technology. The cloud services from Microsoft Azure are used as the basis for this.

During the DATAflor No usable data is kept or stored longer in the cloud; the DATAflor The cloud service only transfers the data between the server and the end device. The data is between DATAflor BUSINESS / AvaServer ⇔ DATAflor Cloud ⇔ end device encrypted via HTTPS connection.

The data on the mobile device are not additionally encrypted and must be protected by the user independently using suitable measures. For this purpose, the general access to the terminal should be controlled by a security code (PIN = Personal Identification Number), if possible by an extended PIN with six or more digits.

Will the DATAflor Apps with the company's data on private end devices (BYOD = Bring Your Own Device) are used or company devices (COPE = Corporate Owned Devices) can also be used for private purposes, further security measures are recommended.

One possibility is the use of so-called MDM software (Mobile Device Management) with which the mobile devices can be configured via a centralized administration. For example, you can use AppTec's Enterprise Mobile Manager to block data-sensitive operations of third-party apps from a central location on all connected mobile devices, critical data on devices that have been reported missing delete, block unwanted apps and much more

Another option is to use PIM software (Personal Information Manager), which can be used to control which data is available to which user.
