Processing aids

This chapter gives you an overview of the various tools that are available to you in the DATAflor BUSINESS Software for LV processing are available.

With the function LV structure change you can in best LV Add hierarchy levels, Delete hierarchy levels, Move positions and Classification scheme with number of digits and increments subsequently change (see Chapter Changes to the course structure). In a History Changes made can be viewed at any time.

Open the LV and click in the menu LV on .

The window Edit course structure will be opened.

The LV with the existing hierarchy levels is shown as a directory tree on the left.

On the right side of the window shows the tab existing course structure the currently set classification scheme.

Then the program suggests on the tab new course structure a possible new organizational scheme. In addition, the classification scheme can be individually adapted here, e.g. hierarchy designation, number of digits or step size.

Enable The option autom. numbering, all hierarchy levels and positions of the course will be renumbered when the new course structure is adopted.

Confirm your entries with [Take over].

The new course structure and the new classification scheme are adopted in the course. In addition, the course will be renumbered if necessary and always recalculated.

If the item numbers have shifted during processing, this function gives you the opportunity to completely assign new numbers to the LV.

Open the menu within the course editing LV and select the entry Renumber.

This function provides you with the following options for recalculating the LV quantity and the quantity:

• Rounding according to the procedures: standard, rounding up and rounding down
• Determining the number of decimal
• Allowance for Surcharges and discounts
• Acceptance of the LV quantity as a quantity or as an allowance

The function is via the entry Mengen in the menu LV called within the course processing:

In info or text fields you are entitled to Editor with which you can change fonts and sizes. You can also insert texts from files and save them in BUSINESS Save created texts as files.

To call up the editor, place the mouse pointer in the info or text field and open the context menu via the right mousekey and select the entry Edit or alternatively double-click with the left mouse button.

The editor opens in a separate window.

The standard word processing functions are available in the editor, e.g. fat, Italic, Underlined, Tabs, Find and replace words. Here is one too Spell Check is possible.

You can also use pre-made texts Insert from RTF files. To do this, open the menu in the editor File and select the entry Insert.

To insert pictures read chapter Images in long text.

In the info and text fields you can, in the master data stored, Text constants insert.

To use the text constant, position the mouse pointer in the info or text field where you want to insert the text constant and press your key combination. The following window will open.

To insert a stored text constant, press the associated one Hotkey. In the example (picture above) press the key 4to the text according to measurement sheet insert.

In the master data you can units which are available to you in info and text fields. You also define a function key for calling the units of measure.

To define or edit units of measure, open in Address manager in the menu Program data the selection menu Company and select the entry Company data.

To use the units of measure, position the mouse pointer in the info or text field where you want to insert the unit of measure and press your key combination. The following window will open.

To insert a stored unit of measure, press the corresponding one Hotkey. In the example (picture above) press the key 4to set the unit of measure kg insert.

In the Position data A pocket calculator is available to you in the numerical fields and for calculating the quantities.

The calculator is via the key combination Alt + T or a click with the right mouse button called on the numeric field.
