user interface

The user interface has the following elements:

menu bar
The menu bar is the standard Windows menu navigation. For a quick description of the functions, position the mouse on the command and read the short description from the tooltip.

Object categories and drawing tools
To draw an object, first click on one of the categories (building, landscape, terrain etc.) and then click on one of the drawing tools below it.

Property
These options allow you to change the appearance and properties of your objects.

Editing tools
With these tools you can select, rotate and scale your objects. When you select an object, you can edit its properties. When editing points, you can set the curve type to change the shape of your object.

Movement commands
With these functions you can change your point of view in a variety of ways. You can also operate these functions with the mouse buttons.

Grid and snap settings
Click on one of the two buttons to switch the function on or off. You can change the grid properties via Settings> Snap Settings change.

View tab
With these tabs you can move in your drawing in the three different perspectives (plan, perspective, 3D view).

The Plan view is the easiest way to draw shapes and move objects. Objects such as labels and symbols only appear in this view.

The Perspective view is the easiest way to change the heights of objects, to model terrain and to accomplish other tasks that require a 3D view. Most of the processing steps can be carried out in both views. Choose the one that best suits your situation.

The 3D view allows you to take a stroll through your project. It shows realistic lighting conditions, shadows, water movement and other effects.

Layer
The possibility of placing your objects on different layers brings you many advantages: From clarity to protection against unwanted changes to your objects while you are editing others.

Dynamic help
This help shows you brief information about the tool which you want to use at the moment. For example, if you are editing an object, here are the next steps.
