Generate material legend
Description
From the Material manager Legends for the materials used can be created automatically. With this legend function, only the material objects are taken into account for the legend. This legend is associative, i.e. changes in the Material manager are updated automatically.
Use the command to edit the material legend Edit legend.
Features
Would you like a material legend based on the objects in the Material manager create, mark the desired group and then call via the menu Material> Create material legend the function on. In this case, the function only relates to the subordinate groups and material objects.
You now have two options for selecting the material objects that are to be listed in the material legend.
With the option Objects in groups will the Material manager analyzed and the subordinate materials are selected automatically.
With the option Objects from the drawing After confirming the dialog, you will have the option of specifically selecting objects with materials from the drawing that are to be listed in the legend.
About [OK] you get to the dialog Configure material legend. Here you can define detailed settings for the legend:
In dialogue Configure material legend presettings have already been made. If you would like to make adjustments, you will find further information on the individual areas in the corresponding chapters objects, Options, Groups, Values and Schedule.
For the Legend title is automatically the current group name from the Material manager used. Any entry can also be made here.
The Info Field can be used as a subtitle. The display of the information from the is preset Material manager.
With [OK] the material legend is inserted into the current drawing as a table. After placing the material legend in the drawing, the dialog is displayed. [Cancellation] ends the function for creating a material legend and switches back to the dialog Quantity management.
For the legend of the material is the Table style DATAflor CAD layout preset.
It is optimized for use in the layout. This table style and the table style DATAflor CAD model are created automatically if they do not already exist.
With the button [...] takes you to the selection of the table style.
About the command TABLE STYLE you can create a new table style or edit an existing table style.
The predefined DATAflor Table styles is the font Arial assigned. This supports the use of exponents (m², m³).
With the button [Change content] the contents of the table can be defined.
The column is preset designation. In addition, further attributes from the material catalog can be selected here.
The columns in the table are sorted using the Arrow keys (top> bottom corresponds to left> right).
With Sort by the column is selected based on which the objects sorted within the legend.
The legend is on the selected or newly created Layer filed. The default is the layer 0_Material legend.
With [Reselect images] another image can be selected from the material catalog.
[Show Preview] expands the existing dialogue Configure material legend. This part shows a preview of the legend with the current settings. Changes, except for those in the input fields, are displayed immediately. When changes are made in the input fields, the button is [Update preview] .
Configuration menu
With as Save standard the current settings are saved. This standard now applies to everyone new Drawings as default.
Manual changes are made by calling Load standard the default setting loaded.
With Administer can in addition to the configuration Standard further configurations can be created.

objects
objects from quantity management uses the subordinate material objects of the im Material manager selected group.
objects Award uses the objects selected in the drawing, regardless of their material type. With [Select new objects] the selection can be adjusted.
Options
| Remove empty groups | Groups from the Material managerto which no objects have been assigned are not displayed in the legend. |

Values

The representation of the graphics in the plant legend corresponds to Graphic variants im Object manager. If the graphic variant is activated there, it is also displayed in the material legend. If the graphic is deactivated, it is hidden in the material legend.
