Edit and copy
Edit material
Any material used can be changed. Either by replacing it with a new material or by changing the quantity calculation.
Functionality
The group or object where a change is to be made must be marked in the mass tree. Here it is also possible to change an object that has inherited the material assignment, i.e. the assignment has been made on a higher level.
A change in the type of material happens via [To edit] in the tab Material. calculation (Amount) takes place in the lower area. In both cases, the material to be changed must first be marked in the table above.
All changes are automatically inherited by subordinate groups and objects.
Copy materials in the drawing
With the command DCOPY (please refer Copy with objects) materials in the drawing can be copied multiple times. The difference to the normal COPY lies in the fact that if the objects are also in Material manager have been recorded, must be copied here.
The command is therefore very suitable for copying individual materials (lights), for example.
Copy materials in the drawing along lines
With the command LCOPY materials can be copied along existing lines. The application corresponds to the command Occupy the line with blocks. The difference to the command Occupy the line with blocks lies in the fact that if the objects are also in Material manager have been recorded, must be copied here.
Therefore, the command is very well suited, for example, to position existing materials linearly (electrical lines).
