Tilt lines 3D

Command: LINCLINE

Description

This command enables the perpendicular alignment of several lines on the slope of a three-dimensional gradient. This function is used, for example, after about Edit the course of the line the central axis of a route or a path has been determined in its elevation. You have the option of aligning the associated left and right edges exactly so that a flat surface is created without a transverse or longitudinal slope. Alternatively, new edges can be created or slopes of the edges can be defined.

Application

  1. After calling up the command, the gradient to which the objects are to be aligned must be selected. After the selection, the following dialog opens:
  2. With the option existing lines lines that are already in the drawing can be aligned with the gradient. The option create new lines creates new lines by entering the distance (offset).
  3. The Tilt the objects can be via the definition As an angle by entering the appropriate parameters for angle, percent or ratio. Alternatively, you can also enter As height be made. The height is the relative reference to the altitude of the gradient.

Positive values always indicate a gradient, negative a gradient.
The indication left and right always refers to the character string of the gradient.

  4. After selecting the options, the dialog with [OK] approved. Upon selection existing lines drawing elements can now be selected or with the option create new lines these are generated automatically.

If you enter 0 for Angle, a flat surface without a transverse or longitudinal slope is calculated.
