Occupy the line with blocks

Command: LPB TAPE

Description

With this function a line can be provided with blocks by a simple selection.

Application

  1. After the command has been called, a line (polyline, line, circle, circular arc, ellipse or Spline) to be selected.
  2. You will then be asked to select the desired block. Multiple blocks are also possible.
  3. Then enter the insertion point. An offset can also be defined here. If the request is made with Enter confirmed, the Block inserted in the calculated center point on the line. If an offset is set using the mouse, this is the distance between the calculated center point and the line.
  4. There are two more areas in the following dialog.



    In the distance the optimal state, a fixed value or the number of segments can be selected. At optimized the spatial extent of the block is calculated. Input value is the distance in character units on the line. Number of segments divides the line into the number of specified segments. The block is then placed at the points where the segments are divided.
    The way food is rotation can be controlled via a value (angle) or an adjustment. At the Shop all blocks have the same orientation. In the Adaptation the alignment of the blocks is based on the course of the line.
