Slope hatching

Command: BHATCH

Description

This command can be used to draw slope hatches between two contour lines (lines). The lines can be open or closed.

Application

Features

Several options are available within the dialog:

Automatically creates the short lines always half as long as the distance between the top and bottom edge. If the option is deactivated, the Length in% can be freely entered (compare a. with d.). The distance controls the step size between the solid lines.

All slope hatches are created in 2D. With the option 3D the lines can also be created in 3D space, whereby the upper and lower edges are connected (compare e. with f.).

The option turn swaps top and bottom edge (compare c. with d.).

With force the slope hatching between the upper and lower edge is always continued to the end of the objects (compare a. with b.).

The option filling creates a solid hatching between the upper and lower edge, whereby the layer can be freely selected or entered (compare a. with c.). The hatching is always created in 2D.

All slope hatchings are associative, ie if the top and bottom edges are changed, the slope hatching is also adjusted.
