Set transparency

Command: DFIMGWHITE

Description

With the command, the image colors of the selected image are switched to transparent.

Application

  1. After using the command Create transparency have called up, select the picture object in the drawing that is to be edited.
  2. In the following dialog click on a color with the left mouse button.
  3. The selected color is automatically switched to transparent and the image as png-File saved.
  4. If the transparency is not displayed, use the command Image transparency on / offto activate it.

Features

Transparency of the visible areas: Object is set transparent with a specified percentage. The slider controls the intensity.
Blur mask: the contrast at the transition from the mask to the transparent area is reduced, the image remains sharp. The slider controls the intensity.
Apply median to mask: smaller marginal areas are combined to form larger ones. The slider controls the intensity.
Shrink non-transparent areas: the transparent area is enlarged at the edge areas. The slider controls the intensity.
Tolerance: As soon as you click on the image, transparency will be applied to the selected color.

The tolerance of the color transparency can be controlled in the input field. The higher the value, the larger the color range that is set transparent.

You can use the operator to determine how the transparency is created. Either a color can be added to the transparency (+), which removes color transparency (-) or only the last selected color (=) are displayed transparently.
Crop the image to the visible area: Edge areas "without information" are cut off.
Reset: Reset: resets all changes.
Remove transparency: all existing image transparencies are removed.

The image is automatically converted to a PNG-File converted and saved in the folder of the original image.
