Working with the Quick Designer
Description
Move form fields
In the upper area you will find a gray entry with the name RibbonSideHead. These are the details for the second page. Here you can find entries for the page, page number and form name. To move a field, first select it by clicking on it. A marked field is framed with small, black squares.
Now drag the formula field to the desired location with the mouse button pressed. Be careful not to leave the area RibbonSideHead not come out.
Enlarge form fields
To enlarge a formula field, select it. Now click on one of the small, black squares of the marking and drag it with the mouse button pressed until the desired size is reached.
Insert text fields
To insert text fields, click in the left menu bar . Now go to the form and click where the new field should be. The following dialog opens.
Now enter the text that should appear on your form. In the following we will create a text field with your company name. Enter the text "Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH" in the field in which "ReportLabel" is currently located. Then confirm with [OK].
If you want to change the font and size later, double-click on the formula field. The dialog opens again. Make your setting and confirm it again with [OK].
To draw
By clicking on the left menu bar you can insert shapes. You can choose between circle, horizontal line, rectangle, left / right line, top / bottom line and vertical line. For example, you can put a line around your company name.
Under the selection fields Brush and Pin you can specify the style, thickness and the appearance of the lines. Under Color you can determine the colors.
Insert company logos and pictures
You can use image files in .bmp, .wmf, .emf, .ico, and .jpg format.
To insert a company logo or picture, click on in the left menu. Place the cursor where you want it on the form. The Windows file selection dialog opens. Find your image file and include it [To open].
If the frame is left blank, your picture is likely too large and will not fit in the frame. Enlarge the frame accordingly so that your picture can be displayed.
Use program fields
Insert program fields
In your form you will see many fields that have already been created. You can optionally delete these fields, but you can also add other fields.
A small example should show you how you can proceed:
You wish to print the customer's debtor (customer) number on your offers and invoices. First, the field must be labeled. To do this, proceed as described under Inserting text fields.
1. click on for the text on the left menu bar. Move the cursor to the desired location. In our example we put this information under the entry "Process no .:" in the form.
2. Now enter the text “Customer number” instead of the “ReportLabel” entry and confirm with [OK]. The text appears in the form.
3. Now go to again on the left menu bar. Position the field to the right of the new field customer number. Enter "KDNR" instead of "ReportLabel". This text also appears again in the form.
4. But you don't only need the text here, you would rather have the customer number stored in the address manager printed here. Fixed program fields are available for this. Mark the field KDNR with the left mouse button, open the context menu with the right mouse button and select the entry Options.
Under Name please enter the value "QRLabDebitorNr" (please note the spelling). This is the name of the field for the customer number. Then confirm with [OK]. Nothing has changed in the way the field is displayed, but the program knows that the customer number must be entered here when printing.
Available program fields
You will then find a list of all fields that you can integrate in the Quick Designer.
Pay attention to an exact spelling as well as upper and lower case. Fields that can be used on the second page always end with "Z".
Note that the data from the address master data must also be stored there (VAT ID, tax number).

Insert system fields
To insert system fields, click on in the left menu bar and then on the desired position in the form. The following dialog opens.
in The Field text give the field a name. You can get a list of all available system fields by opening the selection Type. Make your selection and confirm with [OK].
Do not use the system fields for date fields. You then no longer have the option of back-dating or forward-dating a form, as the system date (the date of the computer) is always used in the form.
