LV identifiers

Click inside the Project management in the menu Project management on Edit IDs.


The dialogue Edit IDs will be opened.

Feld	Description
Identifiers	Enter a name for the new ID.
Info	If necessary, store information about the ID that is displayed for the assignment of the IDs in the LV.
Inactive	By default, all LV identifiers are available for assignment in the LV. Mark with the LV IDs that you no longer want to use, so that they are no longer displayed for selection in the LV.
Category	If you would like to manage many LV IDs, you can subdivide them into categories. By clicking assign the identifier to a category. IDs without category assignment are under the standard category displayed.

Confirm your entries with [OK].

Select the desired course in the project tree and open the tab on the right-hand side of the screen Identifiers. By clicking all active IDs of the category are displayed.


With select the ID or IDs that you want to assign to the LV. The selected identifiers are shown in the tab Identifiers adopted.

• An identifier can be defined as the main identifier for each LV.
• The main identifier is used as a selection criterion for numerous lists and evaluations.
• By clicking define an identifier as the main identifier. The selected main identifier is based on recognizable at any time.
• In addition, the main identifier is shown on the tab Specifications, Services or Life Mission in the overview of the course data in the selection field Main identifier displayed.
• In the program parameter 60.10.146 Enter the main course identifier as a mandatory field you can specify that a main identifier must be assigned when the LV is saved.

For an existing ID, you can subsequently edit the name, the info and the category assignment as well as set an ID for display in the selection lists inactive or active again. To do this, click in the menu Project management on . Take in dialogue Edit IDs Make your changes and confirm with [OK].

IDs that are not assigned to any LV can be permanently deleted. To do this, open the dialog Edit IDs by clicking in the menu Project management, mark the desired course identifier and press Del.

By clicking in the menu Project management open the dialog Edit IDs and open the tab Assign.

Option	Description
Existing identifiers	Select by clicking on the LV identifier for which you want to do one of the following. In addition to the designation of the ID, the number of LV to which it is assigned is displayed.
Remove	click on [Remove] and then on [To run], the assignment to the selected LV ID is irrevocably removed from all LV.
Replace	For the action [Replace] select in the field New identifier by clicking the identifier by which the assignment of the selected identifier is to be replaced for all LV. You also choose whether and how the existing information texts will be edited. Start the process with [To run].
Add	With the action [Add] you can assign an additional identifier to all LV to which the selected LV identifier is assigned. Select the new identifier, define the processing variant for the information texts and start the process with [To run].

Close the dialog with [OK].
