GAEB position assignment

Description

In GAEB-LV positions can be linked with each other according to the exchange format:

Position assignmentSummary
Basic and elective positions = Optional or alternative positions can be assigned to any position in the course as a basic position
Reference and repetition descriptions = items can be assigned to a reference item to save repetitive service descriptions
Leading and sub-descriptions = Text positions can be assigned to a master position as sub-descriptions

The GAEB position assignments are made at Course exchange of DATAflor-Directions of services not passed.


Basic and elective position

In the course in GAEB format, alternative and elective positions can refer to any position in the course. This so-called basic position does not have to be recorded in the course structure directly before the alternative / elective position.

When creating an alternative position (SA, MA, PA) or an optional position (SW, MSW, PW) in a LV in GAEB format, after selecting the Item type the dialogue Select home position open. Select the position to which the alternative or optional position relates and confirm with [OK].


For the alternative or optional position, it is shown which position is the associated basic position.


All assigned alternative / optional positions are displayed for the basic position.


If one or more alternative / optional positions are assigned to a position, in the menu positions in the group he grunted the button GP active (highlighted in orange). By clicking GP you can cancel the assignment to this basic item. In dialogue Choose action define how the assigned items are to be handled.


Reference and repetition description

With reference and repetition descriptions, positions can be briefly described with information on how in[..] or however[..].

To mark a position as a repetition description, activate when entering the position in the menu positions in the group he grunted the button WB. The dialogue Select reference description will be opened. Select the position to which the repetition description relates and confirm with [OK].


For the repetition description, it is shown which position is the reference description. Click again WB in the menu removes the assignment to the reference description.


All assigned repetition descriptions are displayed for the reference description.


If one or more repetition descriptions are assigned to a position, in the menu positions in the group he grunted the button BB active (highlighted in orange). By clicking BB you can remove the assignments to this reference description. In dialogue Choose action define how the assigned items are to be handled.


Leading and sub-description

In the case of particularly extensive descriptions, an item can be composed of a master description with quantity and price calculation as well as one or more text items as sub-descriptions.

To mark a TU item as an underscription, activate when entering the item in the menu positions in the group he grunted the button UB. The dialogue Select route description will be opened. Select the position to which the sub-description relates and confirm with [OK].


For the sub-description, it is shown which position the master description is. Click again UB in the menu removes the assignment to the route description.


All assigned sub-descriptions are displayed for the master description.


If one or more sub-descriptions are assigned to an item, the menu positions in the group he grunted the button LB active (highlighted in orange). By clicking LB you can cancel the assignment to this routing description. In dialogue Choose action determine how the assigned text positions are handled.
