Resources

After you have created your construction sites, you can assign these employees, devices and teams as resources.

Resources tab

On the tab Resources you will see all employees and devices for which the Address manager or in the device management the option Deploy in construction site manager is set.

In the list, the employees with their im Address manager displayed display name. You can use the display name in the Default of the address manager according to your needs, e.g. to adjust the field feature expand.

With selection of the tabs Team, Employees and Gerät you can limit your list to the resource group you want.


In addition, the Filter search for word components used in the display names of the resources.


By adding the column header imputed If you drag to the upper area, you can organize your resources according to imputed employee and device groups.


Assign individual colors to employees and devices as required. Open the context menu with the right mouse button and select in the dialog Edit employee template or Edit device template the desired shade.


The tabs Resources and Details can be shown and hidden as required. Activate or deactivate in the menu Construction site manager the entry Selection area.

Allocate resources

You can optionally assign individual employees or devices to your construction sites and work packages. In addition, teams can be flexibly put together and saved as a template for new construction projects.

Assign individual resources

You distribute your resources via Drag and drop on the individual construction sites.

Highlight on the tab Resources the resource you need and drag it to the desired construction site or work package with the left mouse button pressed.

Resources that are no longer available for the planning period are listed on the Resources grayed out and placed at the end of the list.

If you have a license for the DATAflor HR manager the absence times entered there are also taken into account in the resource list.

Set time periods

Then set the desired time period for your resource. To do this, move the mouse over the left or right edge of the resource bar and drag it to the desired start or end date with the left mouse button pressed.


To move the entire resource, click with the mouse on the resource bar and drag it to the desired period within the construction site while holding down the left mouse button.

During the Day view you can also plan your resources by the hour. To do this, click on the desired date in the calendar or activate it in the menu group Advertising the entry Tags.

The in the Annual working time management Saved working and break times are shown in the calendar of the day view white shown. The times result from the earliest start of work and the latest end of work (end of work = hour specification plus start of work plus break times) of all working time groups. An employee-related representation of the working hours is given to you in the Day view of resource view displayed.



Alternatively, you can press and hold the resource for planning in 15-minute units Ctrl-Button Drag to the desired time.

You can also specify the period for your resource in the dialogs Edit employees and Edit device establish. This is particularly recommended for resources that will be used over a longer period of time.

First open the dialog by double-clicking the resource or right-clicking in the context menu and selecting the entry Edit.

Activate the entry full-timewhen you use your resources on a daily basis want to plan. Use the fields to determine From, Bis and Calendar days the planned period.


Deactivate the entry full-timewhen you use your resources by the hour want to plan. Use the fields to determine From, Bis as well as the specification of the desired Time of day the planned period.

Put teams together

Highlight on the tab Resources a single resource and drag it, as described above, with the left mouse button pressed onto the desired construction site or the desired work package.

Now select another resource and drag it directly onto the first resource. Your two individual resources are now automatically combined into a team.

Add more team members by dragging them directly onto the team head.

Replace team members by dragging them directly onto the resource to be replaced.

You can not only equip your teams with resources from the resource list, but also add resources that have already been used in the planning to your team.

You can also replace team members with resources that have already been used in the planning by pressing and holding down Alt-Button directly to the resource of your team to be replaced.

The symbol used in the team header shows you how many employees belong to the team and whether there are devices in this team.

Create team templates

You can save your assembled teams as Vorlage save for future planning.

Select the team and right-click the entry in the context menu Create as a template out. The dialogue Edit team template will be opened. If necessary, choose a different name and color for your team template.


The created template is now available as a further resource for your planning.

The function Create team templates is available to you with the license Construction site manager pro is available for storage, management and analysis.

Resources used in planning (employees, devices and teams) can be accessed via the functions Share and Merge further processed.

feature Description
Share Select a resource or team bar and move the dashed, vertical line of the mouse pointer to the point where you want to share the resource or team. Press the key S (S = Split) or select the entry via the context menu with the right mouse button Share .
Merge Mark two or more resource or team bars that are on the same line with Ctrl and then press the button C (C = Combine) or select the entry via the context menu with the right mouse button Merge .

Delete resources

In the planning view, mark individual resource bars or with Ctrl multiple resource bars that you want to remove and press the button Del or select via the context menu with the right mouse button or in the menu Construction site manager the entry Delete.

conflicts

The construction site manager has automatic conflict detection. Conflicts always arise when resources (employees, devices and teams) at the same time on several construction sites or within one Interruption are planned.

Show conflicts

When you plan your deployment, duplicate bookings or bottlenecks due to absences are automatically displayed as conflicts. You can recognize conflicts immediately by the red signal color.


To get more information about the conflict, mark the relevant resource bar. Below the tabs Resources and Details you will now see more details about your conflict.

The list shows the construction sites and resources that are causing the conflict elsewhere in the construction site manager. If these are not in the calendar's field of view, you can bring them into focus by double-clicking the list entry.

If you have a license for the DATAflor HR manager the absence times entered there are also taken into account in the conflict detection. Depending on the Access or user right For the personnel manager, these conflicts will be given to you either with the exact reason for the absence or with the general designation Absent displayed.

Resolve conflicts automatically

Select one or more resource bars that have conflicts and right-click the entry in the context menu Resolve conflicts or press the buttons Alt and S.


Your resources are now automatically shared at all points where conflicts arise and the conflicts are automatically marked.


You can then release your marked conflicts with the button Del delete from your planning in one step.

The automatic conflict resolution is only available to you individually created resources to disposal. Please use the function for conflicts that arise within teams Share.
