Silent installation

Silent installation means your DATAflor-Software or an update is installed "unattended", so to speak, ie the complete installation routine runs without a user having to be present. This significantly reduces the installation time, since there is no waiting for input and several installations - e.g. in the network - can be carried out one after the other. You start the application and the installation process runs automatically with the standard settings, without being interrupted by installation dialogs.

Example: \\servername\share\BusinessData\Install\Client\setup.exe /silent

Attention: The executing user (often the system) needs access to the share.

The following parameters are also available for starting the installation file via distribution software at a network workstation:

• / silent
• / install_client
• / userdata = {shared directory as UNC path}
