BUSINESS-Coupling via VPN

To also use VPN in DATAflor CAD from version 2020 directly on the offers, specifications and quantities of DATAflor BUSINESS to access, the following requirements must be met:

• Stable internet line with at least DSL 100000 (100MBit / s download and 40MBit / s upload) at both locations.

  We expressly point out that the most decisive factor for this type of work is the DSL line stability is. The respective internet provider is solely responsible for this.
  Since the data is transmitted over the Internet and not in the local network, it can happen that some program areas of the CAD function slower by a factor of five when working via VPN.

• VPN connection with working DNSResolution (server / PC name from BUSINESSServer must be able to be resolved on the VPN client).

• Locally installed CAD product with the extension BUSINESSCoupling (see Compatibility lists DATAflor Products).

• Installed DATAflor BUSINESSClient on the VPN client (DATAflor BUSINESS-Client must be in the local LAN and cannot be installed via VPN).

  The Release refers purely to the access from CAD to the BUSINESS. Working in DATAflor BUSINESS over VPN is not tested and not Approved.
  To work in BUSINESS please use a workstation in the local network of the database server.
