Description

To make sure your BUSINESS-Workplaces without administrator rights are always up to date, you can have the patches installed automatically - whether in the network, with a terminal server or at the local workstation.


ab BUSINESS 2018 (single workstation, server and network workstation)

Ab BUSINESS In 2018, the patches will always be installed automatically on individual workstations, servers and network workstations. This happens at single workstations and network workstations as soon as a user logs on to Windows. This is controlled on the server via a nightly execution. For this purpose, when installing version 2018 or when updating from version 2017 to 2018, the task DATAflor BUSINESS Patch installer created.


Terminal server

  2. Open the Windows Task Scheduler. To do this, call the control Panel and click Management and then on task Scheduler.
  3. click on Import task.
  4. Select the previously saved XML file.
  5. Then click [OK].
  6. The task is now always carried out when the user logs in.

If no administrator rights have been assigned at the workplace, a rights query appears when the task is created.
