ZUGFeRD / X invoice
Description
ZUGFeRD is the abbreviation for Zmore central Uto be Gguide of Forums eelectronic Rinvoice DGermany.
ZUGFeRD are specifications for the exchange of electronic invoices. ZUGFeRD-compliant invoices include a human-readable PDF file in which the invoice data is integrated in electronically readable XML format. The formats 1.0, 2.0 and 2.1 are currently available. It should be noted that versions 1 and 2 are not compatible with each other. This means that a ZUGFeRD file in format 2.0 cannot be processed by software that can only process 1.0 and vice versa.

X-invoice
The output type X-invoice generates a pure XML file in ZUGFerD format, meets all requirements and is therefore equivalent to an X-invoice.
